As the fourth studio album from the Ghanian rapper, Sarkodie finally set the date of September 8th for fans to hear what’s claimed as “the best compositions so far.”

The album is a collection of Hip Hop and Afro Beat rhythms comprised of 15 new songs, 3 interludes and one bonus track.  With features like Praiz, long-time Producer Jayso and more, Sarkodie uses this album to connect music from the West, Africa, and the UK and hopes to continue to push his work on the global scale.

Landing on Forbes 2017 list of Richest African Musicians, named one of the Biggest African Hip Hop Acts by The Guardian, and winning BET Africa’s Best International Act in 2012, Sarkodie has set the bar high for himself.  His previous albums Rapoholic (2012) Sarkology (2014) and Mary (2015), have landed him success on the international level and he doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon.

Sarkodie is already scheduled to perform at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC on September 2nd, as the prelude to his album release. The Compzers, Efya, Lilwin, and Amakye Dede are slated to join him on stage. Hopefully he’ll give fans a sneak peak at what to expect on the Highest album.
