Budding AfroBeats artist Jay Cube is looking to become a household name with his new EP “Golden Sound.” 

Since starting a solo career in 2012, Jay Cube has been making waves in the music industry collaborating and performing alongside some of the most well known musicians in the world. 

His debut single “My Type” launched him onto the international scene, as the uptempo track gained traction on both American and Nigerian airwaves. 

He has made a name for himself by creating a unique AfroPop sound that seamlessly combines a number of musical genres on top of contemporary African beats. 

His style has grabbed the attention of many throughout the music industry, and he has been grantedopportunities to perform on the same stage as AfroBeat hitmakers Davido, Ice Prince, PSquared, and more. You can also hear him singing alongside Hip Hop legend, Missy Elliot on Sharaya J’s remix of BANJI. 

His recent release, Golden Sound, comes just in time with the world’s interest and fascination of African music. The EP is a fun story of life, love and heartbreak that delivers smooth vocals on top of infectious instrumentals. 

Throughout the project, Jay Cube combines classic R&B, pop and Caribbean sounds, with a hint of Funk and Trap music, in a style somewhat reminiscent of Bruno Mars’ recent album, 24K Magic, but with a distinct AfroBeat twist.
