Juls Taps Busiswa and Jaz Karis for “Soweto Blues”

Ghanaian-British super producer Juls links with South African Queen Busiswa and South London’s Jaz Karis for “Soweto Blues”.

Juls taps into a soft sound of house and soul with some elements of Amapiano, the new sound wave taking over South Africa at the moment. The song dubbed “Soweto Blues” is a song depicting the love, sadness and fun times that Soweto tends to offer its people.

The music video follows Juls traveling through the township, taking in its sights and energy. The video, directed by Nigel Stöckl, features striking shots of the popular area and its skilled pantsula dancers.

Juls has been at the forefront in unifiying African artists and sounds through collaborative efforts. “Soweto Blues” serves as Juls first official single of the year and follow up to his Colour tape released last year.
